Please register on my forum - 9th September 2016
Hi,
I noticed that since I added my first blog post and included it on my Twitter account, there has been several people coming to my forum, I was very pleased about that. However; I’m a little disappointed that no one has decided to register. I’m not sure why, is it because my forum is too new and there aren’t many posts online yet? Is it because the interface on my forum is difficult to navigate? Is it because you find the colours too dark?
I would really love to write to people on my forum as I would like to make new friends. I’m interested in writing to others on the autistic spectrum in the UK, but that's only because I'm based in the UK and I feel there is not enough social forum groups for us on the spectrum in the UK. I want to be able to connect with others who understand what it’s like living on the spectrum in this country.
I’ve always found it difficult to socialise, and the internet is the only real form of socialising I can cope with. I don’t have to see a person face-to-face which heightens anxiety, especially when you don’t know the other person very well. Everything is gradual for me, I need time to get used to someone, to get to know them before I could feel comfortable with face-to-face interaction.
I want to be able to social in a community that is UK based and attracts others on the autistic spectrum who would like to make friends and socialise in a safe, caring and understanding environment. If you would like to register, write on the forum and make friends, we can create a community where we can socialise about whatever interests us.
I would be very interested to write to you and build a safe, caring and understanding social forum that we can express ourselves and make new friends, .
