IMPORTANT: Forum Rules
In order to protect our members and anybody reading this forum, there are a few rules that we would like to make you aware of:-

1. This forum has been created to offer a safe, friendly and social environment for those on the autistic spectrum in the UK only. It is also a place to discuss your thoughts.

3. This forum is based for those in the UK only
4. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this forum. Users who feel that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by Private Messages (PM). We have the ability to remove objectionable messages, if we determine that removal is necessary. We are not online 24/7, so we will take action within a reasonable time frame.
5. Just to remind you we are not responsible for any messages posted. We cannot warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message posted on this forum.
6. You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, hateful, harassing, obscene, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law.
7. You must not post copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this forum.
8. Any posting that the moderators consider to be insulting, abusive, obscene or inflammatory (often known as flame baiting, flaming or trolling) will be removed immediately and the member warned, placed on restrictive posts or banned. In extreme circumstances we will report the poster to their ISP and ask that appropriate action be taken.
9. This forum is for the good of all of our members and all posts should be both polite and respectful to the views of other members.
10. Personal attacks on other forum members will not be accepted. I, myself or the moderators will intervene when a discussion starts to turn into a heated debate or argument. If it continues then the thread will be closed and hidden from general view without further notice and the offending member formally warned.
11. Swearing is not permitted on this forum.
12. Posts, or links to websites advertising commercial sales or services may be removed or edited by the moderators.
13. Posts should refrain from identifying schools, organisations or professionals without having obtained the prior consent of the individuals concerned.
14. To prevent any possible Libel or defamation claim being made against the forum or individual members it is important that members should refrain from using brand names in their posts. Any postings that contain such will be removed without notice by the moderators.
15. To protect yourselves it is important that members understand the risks of using an Internet based open forum. We strongly urge you to give serious consideration to the risks of giving out personal information, contact details, or meeting other members on this forum etc.
16. If any offensive images or media in general are added to posts or attached, then posts may be deleted by moderators or admin.
17. Any posted links to external sites will be checked and verified.
18. Members are asked to use the forum with as a "single identity". Posting under multiple identities is not acceptable.
